Bubs Candles was born when travelling and studying abroad left me really missing home and craving a creative outlet. My partner encouraged me to try something new and candles came to mind, as I have always loved lighting a candle and finding new fragrances to fill my home. I ordered a little starter kit and began playing around with different waxes and fragrances and within a couple of months I had fallen in love with candle making.
I concentrated on using eco-friendly and vegan ingredients as sustainability has always been an important driver in my life so only high quality soy wax and fragrance oil could be used.
Throughout this journey of beginning a business and being away from home the number one person always cheering me on was my partner. Since the first day we met he nicknamed me bub, so I thought it was only fitting that I called my business, Bubs Candles.
That's why our candles are meaningful, simple and sustainable.
